Serophene
Serophene, the most well-known fertility drug, also known as clomiphene citrate and it is used to treat ovulation problems (anovulation). It is often used in the treatment of irregular cycles and of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) related infertility. About 40 to 45% of couples get pregnant within six months of treatment.

Serophene is widely used as an ovulation induction agent and should only be used for three ovulatory cycles unless the patient in under the care of a fertility specialist. Ovulatory dysfunction is a common cause of female infertility, occurring in up to 40% of infertile women.

Gonadotropins
Gonadotropins include FSH, LH, or a combination of both. hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) may also be used, as it mimics LH in the body. These hormonal medications are typically used when clomiphene citrate fails, or if the pituitary gland can not create LH and FSH on its own.

FSH is employed in in vitro fertilization cycles where it stimulates the development of numerous eggs needed for the various Artificial Reproductive Technologies (ART) procedures. It is also used by fertility specialists in stimulated IUI cycles.

Metformin
Metformin (glucophage) has recently been studied for the treatment of PCOS and is receiving wide clinical use. PCOS produces abnormally elevated androgen levels (male hormones) and metformin lowers these levels by increasing the cells sensitivity to insulin. Once androgen levels normalize, ovulation will often resume.

Puregon
Puregon is a synthetic hormone called the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), it directly affects the ovaries in women, by growing follicles and stimulates their development. This medication is often used for women who are having difficulties getting pregnant due to problems with ovulation. It is used for women who tried treatment using Clomid and have been unsuccessful.

Gonal-F
Gonal-F is used for oculation induction for anovulatory patients with infertility whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure.

Orgalutran
Orgalutran is used to prevent premature ovulation (early release of eggs from the ovary) in women having fertility treatment and for those who are having ovarian stimulation of the ovaries so than they can produce more eggs. In premature ovulation, the ovaries release eggs that may be immature and/or not suitable for procedures such as IVF.

Suprefact
Suprefact Injection belongs to a group of medicines called gonadotropin releasing hormone analogues and contains a medicine called buserelin acetate. It acts on the pituitary gland. This medication causes suppression of the ovarian response, unless the ovary has been stimulated with other drugs such as Puregon or Gonal F.

Bravelle
Bravelle is used to stimulate eggs to mature in women who's ovaries are healthy but are unable to develop eggs. It provides the hormone FSH that helps the ovaries to produce eggs.

Luveris
Luveris is a Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), it stimulates a follicle to develop and mature. This therapy is used when a woman desires a pregnancy and her ovaries can produce a follicle but hormonal stimulation is not sufficient to make it mature.

Menopur
Menopur belongs to a class of drugs known as Gonadotropins and is used to induce the development of multiple eggs in women who are able to produce and release eggs. This is also a drug used for follicle stimulating hormone, to recruit and develop more follicles needed for Artificial Reproductive Technologies (ART).

Ovidrel
Ovidrel is used for fertility treatment cycles to help follicles mature and trigger the release of mature eggs from a woman's ovaries.
